"Pink Flag," our first ever Rosé  was inspired equally by the band Wire, and the winery Clos Cibonne. From Wire, the wine takes its name (an homage to their first, groundbreaking album), but also its spirit: joyous, playful energy brushing up against an angular, spiky core. From Clos Cibonne, we take technique. Their Rosé is aged under fleurette, a yeast veil similar to that found in Sherry or the Jura.  We successfully explored this technique for half of our Rose, and love what it brings to the wine, a sort of sea salt, Marcona almond, oceanic quality that keeps the wine both savory and fresh. We are very proud of this wine, and think you will find it quite unlike any other rosé from California.
