Our second release of Garnacha Blanca, this comes from a new site for us, Tres Hermanas Vineyard in eastern Santa Maria Valley. Our buddy Ryan Roark oversaw the vineyard in 2018- farming organically and without irrigating- and the resultant fruit was superb. We fermented this to dryness on its skins (about 12 days in total), followed by aging in old barrels for 11 months. The wine has beautiful weight in the mouth, with a sort of apple skin crunchiness. Aromatics of orange liqueur and exotic fruits hint at this being an "orange wine", though it is fresh on the palate, bright and juicy, with no suggestion of oxidation. 

Unfined and Unfiltered. Total SO2 addition: 10 ppm (solely for bottling)  

Aging: 100% neutral oak
