Crafted by local artist Adriana Lemus, these are hand thrown ceramic cups that we feel show our wines particularly well, highlighting the minerality and tactile nature of our craft. They are also beautiful works of art, elevating the sensual experience of enjoying a glass of wine. Perfect for summer, these vessels keep the temperature of the wines nice and cool!

Adriana Lemus' work ranges from abstract to realistic pieces inspired by and meant to empower the female figure. Adriana creates handmade small batch pottery in her backyard studio. Lemus is a San Luis Obispo artist and activist. She works primarily in ceramic sculpture using underglaze and glaze to paint figures inspired by "selfies" taken by friends and collectors of her work. Lemus has introduced Black Lives Matter pieces to her project to promote awareness around our current times. Her display of ceramic pieces has become a powerful catalyst for conversation and interaction.

Extensions of this work are ceramic cups that connect with the soul. This is done through the sense tactile touch or contact with the beauty of sculptured relief of the human form, texture, design and color. Lemus' passion and drive is to understand the connection and effect of her art with the soul of the observer.

Born in San Luis Obispo, CA, Lemus was raised by artistic parents. Her father’s work has been a huge inspiration for her own work. She graduated May of 2015 with a B.A. at the University of California, Berkeley. Lemus has shown her work in San Luis Obispo and the Bay Area. Currently, Lemus has a small pottery business with her partner, Chad Franco, called Night Owl Pottery. They host workshops, sell their work at local Makers Markets, online, and are currently working on commission work for restaurants, hotels, spas, and homes.
